Frostop in Metairie

The hamburgers were good and the service was very friendly and welcoming, I'd highly recommend this Frostop. Loved the decor also.

One of the best burgers on the eastback

This was an attempt to recapture my interest in their menu by trying it again. They had been killed by Burger King when Burger King came out as Burger King is actually based in New Orleans. I found most of their food to be adequate and I love of course the root beer in the Frosted glasses, but I think that Burger King makes a better sandwich for a much better price. And that's what it killed them before.

They successfully reinvented the old time Frostop (especially the kitchen)!

I don't know how this place has good reviews. We went after a parade and the food was very low quality with a high price tag. My burger was a thin frozen meat patty. For being so expensive I expected better quality. I was also displeased with the cleanliness of the restrooms. Will not go back.

Probably one of my favorite family restaurants in town. The decor is a bit too 1960's but it's not obnoxious about it. The food's good and reasonably priced. And if you get anything to drink besides the root beer, you're wrong.

Great burgers, and the original Frostop Root Beer. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, how about delicious onion rings and fries too.

Went to Auto Glass on Airline to get a windshield replaced and had 2 hours to kill. Came here to FroStop to get some grub and the food was amazing. The shrimp was fresh and very tasty. The chilli on the fries and the cheese was very good too. The root beer float was amazing. 5 stars the staff super friendly and the food came out right away still hot and fresh.

I like my Lot-o-burger, been eating it since I was knee high to a grasshopper!! My girlfriend got the crab Patty on bun, it was horrible poor thing could not eat it. Hope you guys can change that, waitress did not know what to do when we told her it wasn't good, she said okay walked to the back and never came back, so we just left

Im always looking for new restaurants in the area. I found my new favorite. The waitress Danielle is amazing with lots of character. The root beer is homemade. The bread pudding is the best Ive ever had. Thanks guys. You have a customer for life.

I just LOVE. Great roast beef.. Been to more places than I can remember...This roast beef was perfect...home cooked roast..yum. 3 different sizes so perfect for just me 8" just great. Will be back at least once a week r more..I also live across the river from this place so U know it good

More than a hamburger joint. It's back to the 60's, however the food is just as great. Advice= stick with the theme of the early 1960's, you'll enjoy the atmosphere so much better. Alcohol served as well

Been going to this frostop for years and I've never had any issues with service or the food. I always get a lotto burger, and its always fresh and hot. The root beer is awesome, best that I've ever had. I recommend this spot for lunch to family and friends. Handicap accessible parking, entrance and restrooms available. There's booths and tables to eat at. They have daily lunch specials and any type of poboys that you can get anywhere in the metro area. Prices are very reasonable, 2 ppl can have lunch with drinks for less than 20 bucks.

Even though some items are not available, there is still a huge menu to choose from. 1960's decor with WTIX fm always playing in the background. Food cooked to order so it's hot when you get it. Don't forget to try a chocolate malt or root beer float!

The best Classic American burger and fries I have found, period. Never have a bad experience. Just order sit and enjoy. If you are a root beer person theirs is home made. Do yourself a favor and grab a Lot-o-burger.

Good food and great service down home place

Frostop is something of a hidden gem. It's been there for years but I've never been there, and neither have a lot of people I know! After going there I have no idea why it's not been on my radar sooner.Sure it's a little run down, in need of an aesthetic update, It's clearly seen better days. But it's worn-in look is part of its charm.The food is very good, it's Diner food. I wasn't blown away but you will get a solid meal at a reasonable price. The PO-Boys and burgers are very good, although I can't help but think there's something missing. Like they are a single ingredient away from blowing my mind!Overall it's a family friendly place that needs more customers than it gets so maybe they can fix the dripping vent and patch up a few seats so the quality of the decor matches the food.

First time eating there today and it was excellent. Service was on point and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good place to eat with friendly waitstaff!
